On my bookshelf this week:

Coming Up for Air--George Orwell:
By the same author as Nineteen Eighty-Four, this is another interesting read as you get into the very thoughts (an not much else) of George Bowling, a 45-year-old with false teeth and very anti-modern sentiments.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy--Douglass Adams:
Very fun and easy read that is quite absurd from beginning to end...It brings up a lot of interesting questions too.

\The Black Tulip--Dumas:
This is one of Dumas' shorter novels (also wrote the Count of Monte Cristo) but still an interesting one...interestingly, a flower, not a man, is the center of the story!

Praying Backwards--Bryan Chapell:
I must admit that this guy is one of my favorite authors!!! A really great book on how we do and ought to pray...with God's glory as our goal...you should read this!

Hi Corinne

On my bookshelf this week is The Elements of Moral Philosophy by James Rachels. It is very interesting to read about moral philosophy from someone who is not coming from a Biblical perspective. Challenging and affirming at the same time!
